A good collaboration with the A.P. Møller Foundation for many years
The A.P. Møller Foundation has been our close partner for many years, and we have worked on several exciting digital projects together.
This time it was a new project for the Opera House, which needed an independent communication platform for a new construction project.
The target group for the platform is the building's many stakeholders - including citizens. We therefore focused on creating a solution that flexibly visualises the progress of the construction project and, not least, how the Opera Park will appear in its finished form.
Choosing Umbraco CMS
A. P. Møller Foundation already has its main website apmoellerfonde.dk on Umbraco CMS, but as this was an independent site, it was natural to investigate whether there were other content management systems that were better suited for the purpose.
Wordpress was in the spotlight, but the choice ultimately fell on a completely new Umbraco solution.
For the new solution, we built a number of content modules that the content editor can use at will to build pages that both inform and visualise the construction project.
In addition, we have implemented an Image Comparison Slider that website visitors can "drag" to view before and after images of the construction project.
