As a global company, DALI - Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries - wanted a multilingual website that would also allow national editors to tailor content for each market.

Focus on language and rights management
With many editors spread all over the world, it is important for DALI to have precise control of the editorial possibilities. That's why we have developed a customised rights setup that makes it easy for DALI to determine who is allowed to edit content on the pages. The system thus ensures that local editors do not accidentally correct product specifications that are the same across the globe.

A multilingual website
Today, the well-known Danish speaker manufacturer, which is represented in more than 70 countries, is open to countries having their own language versions of the website. We have set up the CMS so that DALI can copy the basic structure including content and images in the English version to one or more other languages with a single click. After that, it's just a translation task to get the site ready.
Compared to before, we spend far fewer man-hours on the language pages because local editors now receive a copy of the English version and build on the content themselves. It now only takes a few minutes to copy a news item or a new product series, whereas before we had to do the same work for each language version of the website.

We build websites that are open to search engines
SEO can be approached from different angles, and in the project with DALI, we have primarily concentrated on building a website that is open to search engines. A website that search engines can access, understand and index appropriately. In other projects, we also provide advice and guidance in relation to keyword analysis and on-page SEO.
I think we have an excellent co-operation with Illumi and we plan to continue.
