Agro Food Park has been established on the Danish Agriculture & Food Council's land in Aarhus N, where the vision is to connect competences and create the leading innovation and growth environment for food that can help ensure the development of sustainable products for future generations.
Flexible Umbraco solution
The new website is based on a flexible Umbraco solution where the editors can easily work with creating content for the different target groups and promote the many events that will help strengthen the community in the park.
A CMS should do what is needed!
The challenges of the old Sitecore CMS were numerous. Most of all, it was an expensive and unnecessarily complex solution for a - at the time - relatively simple need.
Sitecore is a content management system that offers a wide range of possibilities for working with digital marketing, lead generation and personalised user journeys, but for Agro Food Park and many smaller companies and organisations, you probably won't have the resources to exploit Sitecore's full potential. That's why the ease of maintenance of the new Umbraco website is in many ways a great relief for Agro Food Park's content editors.
Language variants
The website also offers an English version, which is easily edited with the Umbraco Language Variants feature. In simple terms, this means that editors can create as many language variants of the site as needed. The language variants are linked together and displayed side-by-side, so you can keep an overview when content updates need to be rolled out in multiple languages.
