Application and Authorisation Systems
Get a customised application and authorisation system
that supports the processes in your organisation
A customised application and grant system can be put together in many different ways. The most important thing is to provide users with the necessary and relevant tools and information for efficient administration and management of grant processes.
At Illumi, we have no standard systems on the shelves, but we build each solution based on a careful analysis of how an application and grant system should support and facilitate the administrative tasks for your company or organisation.
What makes a good authorisation system?
A good application and authorisation system can:
automate and digitise administrative tasks associated with the application and grant process
give applicants a good overview of what they can apply for funding for
be user-friendly and guide and help applicants to fill out applications correctly
give users a good overview of both the process and progress after application
integrate with other systems such as financial systems.
Elements of an application and authorisation system
Generally speaking, there are three elements to an authorisation system. Each part can be implemented with a varying degree of functionality according to individual customer needs. Some functions can specifically address actions taken by applicants and others can be part of the authorisation process handled by the grantor.
Concrete examples of basic functions in an application and authorisation system:
Profile creation
A person or organisation creates a user profile in the system that is approved by the funder. Applicants are guided through a user-friendly creation flow.
Establishing criteria
The grantor can set criteria for the application material and create application forms themselves, for example from a template.
Creating an application
Applications are created and can be assigned to dedicated grant officers who handle the qualification and final approval of the application. The application process is user-centred and guides the applicant so there are no errors or wasted time because the application lacks specific documents or information.
Reporting
Both the grantor and the applicant have an overview of where the applications are in the approval process. After the grant has been awarded, applicants can also see the status of spent funds.
